Kind of cloudy here today, it's supposed to rain yet this morning. I have finished designing the cable sweater and have about 4 inches knitted on the back. The blue vest I took to work is progressing, I only have about 4 inches and the back will be done. I may not get much knitting done today, as I want to get out to complete some yardwork between raindrops.

Making progress

I finally made progress on a few of my projects. I finish my husband's scarf. I also finished spinning the wool for an aran style sweater, but now I can't find the pattern so I'm going to attempt to design one myself. I'm taking a sweater-vest to work so I can knit while at lunch.

Time to get away

Haven't had anything to talk about here because of remodeling the kitchen. Now that is finished and I can start on my crafts. To help that along, I'm getting out of here for the weekend. I'm going to a spinners weekend and I have lots of things to do. Imagine, approximately 2 whole days doing nothing but spinning, knitting, and gossiping.

how cold is it?

Oy, how cold is it out there? I was outside this morning balancing the ATM at work for about 5 minutes or less. Had no hat (didn't want hat hair) and no scarf. I was standing with my back to the wind and ended up with the back of my head hurting like an ice cream headache.

taking the plunge

Well, I decided it was time to take the plunge and create a blog for myself. Not real sure what I'll put on it but there it is.
